Too Many Cooks

About the song...

Chris Kelly showed me a rough script for "Too Many Cooks" back in September of 2013, and said he needed a theme song. He wanted it to sound something like the 80s sitcom theme for "The Facts Of Life". After getting stuck on that song for a few days, this melody and basic song structure popped into my head while in the shower (as cliché as that my sound.) A couple of weeks later I had an opportunity to track a rough version at the studio, record two vocalists, and send it off to Chris. He and Paul Painter looped it under some of the footage that they were already cutting together. From there it went over to Shawn Coleman who worked with Chris on twisting it into all the different crazy genres and creating the final version, and the rest is history.
